OUR PREDICTION: de la Rosa has pitched like crap this season, posting an 8.44 ERA and a 5.19 FIP in just 10.2 innings of work. He’s allowed 10 earned runs on 13 hits and while he’s striking out 10.13 per nine, he’s also walking 4.22 batters per nine. Nicasio hasn’t been solid either, posting a 4.80 ERA and a 3.90 FIP while allowing eight runs on 13 hits over 15 innings of work. He too has struggled with walks, allowing 4.20 per nine. Tonight figures to be another high-scoring affair.
