According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Rockies are -120 money line favorites versus the Reds, who have odds of +100 to pull off the upset today in Cincinnati. With Kyle Freeland set to face Bronson Arroyo in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Freeland allowed three runs over six innings Tuesday in a victory over the Twins. Freeland wasn’t at his best in this one; he walked four, struck out three and allowed his second homer of the year. Still, he managed to turn in his fifth consecutive quality start anyway. He’s 4-2 with a 3.13 ERA.
Arroyo was tagged for five runs in five innings by the Cubs in a loss Tuesday. It’d be great if Arroyo could be anything close to a decent starter for the Reds this year, but he has a 6.31 ERA right now and he’s given up 11 homers in 41 1/3 innings. The Reds have to be getting close to replacing him
Bet Today’s Rockies vs. Reds Game
OUR PREDICTION: The over is hot in this matchup. It cashed on both Friday and Saturday and is now 18-7-2 in the last 27 meetings between these two clubs. It is also 11-5-1 in the last 17 meetings in Cincnnati, 15-5-1 in Arroyo’s last 21 starts, and 19-7 in the Reds’ last 26 games overall. Granted, the under is 7-1 in Freeland’s last eight starts overall. But with the way Arroyo is pitching, coupled with how hot Colorado’s bats are, the over is yet again the best play on the board.
