Colby Lewis will make his debut for Texas after he was hit hard by the Indians in his final Cactus League outing last Friday. He allowed two runs on three hits in his 3 1/3 innings of work while also issuing three walks and striking out just one. He finished the spring with an ugly 7.78 ERA.
Seattle is now 5-2 in its last seven games versus Texas, which is 2-5 in Lewis’ last seven starts against the M’s. The Rangers are also 1-7 in Lewis’ last eight starts when he pitches Game 3 of a series.
