White Sox vs. Indians Pick
Will the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians put up some big runs when the two meet later tonight at 7:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Cleveland is the favorite tonight, as the Indians are getting odds of -250 to win. The White Sox are getting a money line of +220 to win, while the over/under total for the game has been set at 8.5 runs. These two have met six times this season, with each team picking up three wins.

The pitching matchup for today’s game has Corey Kluber (4-2, 4.36 ERA) on the mound for the Indians to face Miguel Gonzalez (4-6, 4.83) of the White Sox. Kluber is coming off a solid outing against Oakland last week. He pitched six scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts. On the season he has 51 strikeouts and 14 walks in 43.1 innings. His WHIP this season is 1.25. Gonzalez is struggling right now, allowing at least three runs in his last five starts. He has given up 37 earned runs in 69 innings this year and has a WHIP of 1.42.
Chicago is a bit of a mess right now. They are coming off a series loss at Tampa and have dropped seven of their last eight games. The White Sox are 25-33 overall, 13-22 on the road and 28-27 with the over. Chicago is averaging 4.45 runs per game while allowing 4.53. The Sox are being led by Avisail Garcia, who has 10 home runs with 42 RBI while hitting .330. Jose Abreu is adding 10 home runs and 32 RBI.
Cleveland is coming off a pair of losses in Colorado and they have dropped four of their last five games. The Indians are 29-28 overall and 12-14 at home while going 33-21 with the under. Cleveland is averaging 4.42 runs per game while allowing 4.23 per contest. Francisco Lindor has 12 home runs, 16 doubles and 26 RBI to lead Cleveland while Michael Brantley is adding 10 doubles and 24 while hitting .296.
Neither pitcher has had sustained success during the season, but Kluber may have turned the corner last week. He is facing a Chicago team that is struggling, so I think Kluber should have another big performance. With the Sox having their run total limited, I don’t see Cleveland being able to put up 7-8 runs to hit the over. These two have hit the under in 10 of the last 11 meetings that Kluber has started. I see it happening again tonight.
