Kyle Busch wins Sprint Cup title
It was an interesting 2015 season for Kyle Busch, but it ended on the highest note possible, as he won the Ford EcoBoost 400 and the Sprint Cup Championship.
Busch competed with Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon and Martin Truex Jr. for the Sprint Cup Championship on Sunday. The driver that finished ahead of the other three on Sunday would be the Sprint Cup champion. Busch led the foursome throughout the race and then ended up in the lead over the final laps, pulling away from Harvick to get the win.
According to oddsmakers, Busch had 6/1 odds to win this race coming into the day, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $600. To start the 2015 season, Busch had 12/1 odds to win the Sprint Cup title, which means a wager of him to do that will pay out $1,200.
Harvick came in second on Sunday while Gordon was sixth in his final Sprint Cup race. Truex Jr. placed 12th. Of the drivers not in the chase, Brad Keselowski was the top finisher, coming in third place.
