Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race Picks
The NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series waves the green flag for the running of the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race later tonight. Here’s some drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is the slight favorite to win, as he has +300 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Kyle Larson (+400), Kevin Harvick (+425) and Martin Truex Jr. (+1000) and The Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race takes place tonight at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. The race airs on the NBC Sports Network at 7:30PM ET.
52013 Kyle Busch +300
Busch has been dominant at Bristol over the years, picking up a total of seven wins in his career at this track. He has won this particular race three times and is the defending champion. Busch has a driver rating of 101.8 at this track, which ranks second in tonight’s field. This year, Busch has six wins already and I definitely think he will be the one to beat tonight.
52003 Kevin Harvick +425
Harvick doesn’t have the same numbers as Busch at Bristol, but he still has had some success. Harvick is a two-time winner at this track with an average finish of 13.3 and a driver rating of 96.3. The track hasn’t mattered too much this year for Harvick, as he has seven wins in 2018 with 10 other top-5 finishes. This year has largely been about Harvick and Busch, so don’t be surprised to see either win tonight.
52001 Brad Keselowski +1200
Keselowski is a two-time winner at Bristol in his career. His average finish (18.2) and driver rating (86.9) don’t pop off the page, but Keselowski has at least been able to prove he can win at Bristol. Coming off a runner-up finish last weekend, Keselowski has some momentum and can take that into his pursuit of his first win of 2018 tonight. Keselowski still has 12 top-10 finishes on the year and could really use a victory with the playoffs nearing.
