Coca-Cola 600 Predictions
The longest race of the NASCAR season will take place tonight when the Coca-Cola 600 waves the green flag in North Carolina. Here’s three drivers we like to contend for the win tonight.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is the favorite tonight with +275 odds. Other short odds to win are Kevin Harvick (+450), Brad Keselowski (+700) and Martin Truex Jr. (+700). The Coca-Cola 600 is set to take place tonight at 6PM ET from Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina.
52101 Kyle Busch +275
Busch is the defending champion of this race and it’s no surprise that he is the favorite this evening as well. Busch has been solid at this track consistently over his career. He is a three-time pole winner at Charlotte and has a driver rating of 106.5, which ranks second in today’s field behind Jimmie Johnson. Busch already has three wins this season and has finished in the top 10 in all but one race. Look for him to be the man to beat again tonight.
52102 Kevin Harvick +450
Harvick is very familiar of what kind of endurance it takes to win this 600-mile race. He has won it twice in his career. Harvick is a three-time winner at Charlotte over his entire career and he has an average finish of 15.5 at the track with a driver rating of 89.5. The many who always seems to be in the championship mix is without a win thus far in 2019. While he’s still driving well, he hasn’t found the winner’s circle yet. This should be a race that gives him a stronger chance to win. Don’t be surprised if he capitalizes on it.
52109 Denny Hamlin +2500
Hamlin is due for a win at Charlotte. Over his career, he has been unable to come up with a win, but has been one of the most consistent drivers at the track. He has an average finish of just 12.1 there and his driver rating is 97.3, which ranks third in tonight’s field. Hamlin has two wins this season, but is coming off three poor performances in races that matter. He needs a bounce-back effort tonight and I think he brings great value at 25/1.
