Coke Zero Sugar 400 Predictions
The 2019 NASCAR Monster Energy Series holds one of its featured night races this evening when drivers compete in the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Here’s some drivers we think could cash in tonight.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano are co-favorites to win, as each has 8/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin, who each have 10/1 odds. The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is set to take place tonight at 7:30PM ET from Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
52304 Kyle Busch 10/1
Kyle Busch won this race back in 2008 and he comes into tonight’s race with some great numbers. Despite a poor run in Chicago last week, Busch has been great all season and already has four wins. He finished second in Daytona to start 2019 and he has a 91.2 driver rating at this track, which is best in the field today. I like Busch to continue his strong year and pick up a win in this race.
52303 Denny Hamlin 10/1
Hamlin is one of the few drivers to have won multiple times at Daytona in his career. He has an average finish of 17.0 at the track, which is one of the top averages in the field tonight. His 87.9 driver rating there is also near the top. Hamlin already won the Daytona 500 this year, and winning both races at the track in one year isn’t easy, but I think the 10/1 odds for him are really strong. Fast tracks lead to good things for Hamlin.
52312 Martin Truex Jr. 20/1
There aren’t many times you are going to see Martin Truex Jr. with 20/1 odds, but I think that definitely is worth considering today. Truex Jr. hasn’t had a lot of success at Daytona, as his average finish there is 22.1. However, a lot of those bad performances came early in his career. He was second in this very race last year and was second in the 2016 Daytona 500. If Truex can avoid the big wreck, I think he has a great chance to lead you to a huge payday.
