Coke Zero Sugar 400 Picks
The NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series waves the green flag on the Coke Zero Sugar 400 this evening. Here’s some drivers we like to contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano are the two favorites, as each is listed with 7/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kevin Harvick (9/1). The Coke Zero Sugar 400 takes place tonight at 7PM ET from Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
51013 Kyle Busch 10/1
It’s not often Kyle Busch comes in with 10/1 odds for a race. I think that is great value for him. He actually has the top driver rating of anyone in the field for today’s race. His driver rating at Daytona is 91.7. He is a former winner at this track and has an average finish of 18.7. Busch is coming off an impressive win last week, his fifth of the season. Busch has finished in the top 5 in 12 races this year and should be in the mix again tonight.
51007 Denny Hamlin 10/1
Hamlin ranks fourth in tonight’s field in terms of driver rating at Daytona. It stands at 89.4. Hamlin has one win at Daytona in his career and he has an average finish at 16.8. Hamlin is winless this year, but he finished third at the Daytona 500 to open the season. Despite being winless, he has only finished outside the top 20 twice this year. He is consistently in the top 10 and I think tonight can be the night be breaks through to get his win.
51008 Ryan Blaney 10/1
Blaney isn’t a driver I turn to very often, but I like how things are shaping up for him. He is having his best year yet in the series and has made his way into the top 10 eight times this season. Now Blaney is coming to Daytona, which has actually been a good track for him. Through six races, he has a 91.2 driver rating at the track. He finished second in the 2017 Daytona 500 and was seventh at this year’s Daytona 500 as well.
