Digital Ally 400 Predictions
After a quick turnaround, with just five days since the last race, the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series heads to Kansas today for the running of the Digital Ally 400. Here’s the drivers we like to contend for the win today.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is the favorite to win today, as he has 4/1 odds to prevail. Other short odds to win are Martin Truex Jr. (6/1), Kevin Harvick (7/1) and Brad Keselowski (7/1) and The Digital Ally 400 is set to take place today at 7:30PM ET from Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.
52204 Kevin Harvick 7/1
Harvick has great numbers at Kansas. He has three wins over his career at the track with an average finish of 9.7 and a 108.6 driver rating. He has the best numbers at Kansas of anyone in the field. This year, Harvick has eight top-10 finishes with five top-5 finishes. He is winless on the year, but I think he is going to break out of that slump today. He is too good at this track and too consistent overall to not be picking up wins.
52202 Martin Truex Jr. 6/1
Like Harvick, Truex Jr. has been pretty good in Kansas, just not as good as Harvick. Truex has two wins at the track with an average finish of 14.0 and a driver rating of 100.1. Truex Jr. has been on a nice little run lately, winning two of the last three races. He has been solid throughout 2019, finishing in the top 10 in seven races and inside the top 20 in the last 10 races.
52206 Ryan Blaney 10/1
Blaney has been a little hit-and-miss this year. He has four top-5 finishes, but also has four finishes outside the top 20. Blaney is coming to a track he has been pretty strong at tonight. He has yet to win, but he has finished in the top 5 three times in eight races. His average finish at Kansas is 13.0 and his driver rating there is 98.7. I think Blaney is a good dark horse option today. I think he will keep himself in contention tonight and then it will be up to him to make the right moves in the closing laps.
