Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Predictions
The NASCAR Monster Energy Series continues its 2019 season today with the running of the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 in Atlanta. Here’s some drivers we like to contend for the win today at 2PM ET.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kevin Harvick is favored to win this race, as he is getting odds of +325 to win. Other short odd to win are Kyle Busch (+600), Kyle Larson (+700), Joey Logano (+900) and Martin Truex Jr. (+900). The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 is set to take place today at 2PM ET from Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. The race will air live on FOX.
52006 Brad Keselowski +1000
Keselowski was the 2017 winner of this race and he has some pretty strong statistics at this track. Keselowski has an average finish of 16.5 at Atlanta and a driver rating of 95.5, which ranks fifth in today’s field. Keselowski also finished second in this race last year. He is coming off a 12th-place finish at Daytona last week and wants to improve on that and pick up a win today. I think he can be the man to beat.
52005 Chase Elliott +1200
Elliott has only competed at this track three times, but he has finished in the top 10 all three times. His average finish at Atlanta is 7.7 and his driver rating is 96.4. Elliott finished the 2018 season with some momentum and I think he is looking to get his 2019 season off to a strong start. He was caught up in the wreckage last week, but I think he bounces back today at a track he has been competitive at.
52013 Jimmie Johnson +2500
Johnson is a four-time winner of this race, last taking the checkered flag in 2016. Johnson is off to a pretty good start to 2019 after a really down 2018 season. He went winless last year, but started this year by winning the exhibition at Daytona and then finishing ninth in the Daytona 500. Given his very long odds, I think Johnson has some really good value today. He has an average finish of 11.6 over 27 races at Atlanta and a driver rating of 102.8 there.
