NASCAR All-Star Race Predictions
In its annual mid-season exhibition race, the 2019 Monster Energy All-Star Race is set to get underway later tonight. Here’s the drivers that we think can contend for the victory.
The race is a two-segment, 50-lap race followed by 13 green-flag laps. According to the latest oddsmakers, Kevin Harvick is favored to win today, as he is listed with 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (5/1), Joey Logano (7/1), Martin Truex Jr. (8/1), and Brad Keselowski (8/1). The Monster Energy All-Star Race is set to take place today at 8PM ET from Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina.
52001 Kyle Busch 5/1
Busch is always a threat in most NASCAR races. He has picked up three wins in the 2019 season and now comes to an event that he has very strong numbers. Busch won this event back in 2017. He has an average finish of 10.5 at this event, but his driver rating is 103.7, which is second-best of anyone in tonight’s field. Don’t be surprised to see Busch have another strong run tonight.
52005 Joey Logano 7/1
Through the 2019 season, Logano has been the top driver. Though he has just one win, he has been the most consistent driver along the way and is leading the point standings right now. He has also performed well in this event, winning it back in 2016. His average finish in the All-Star race is 6.9, while his driver rating is 82.8. Logano should be able to have another strong run tonight and I think he will be the man to beat.
52004 Chase Elliott 9/1
Elliott is having an impressive 2019 season thus far with one win. He is fourth in the point standings. Elliott has never won this race, but he does have an average finish of 6.0 in the event and his driver rating of 90.6 ranks fourth in the field. Elliott seems to be ready to really start pushing himself as one of the top drivers in NASCAR and I think that continues tonight in this All-Star field.
