AAA Texas 500 Odds
The 2017 NASCAR Monster Energy Series heads down to Texas this weekend for the AAA Texas 500. Here is a look at the odds to win this week’s race.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Martin Truex Jr. is favored to win this race, as he has +225 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (+350), Kyle Larson (+550) and Kevin Harvick (+600). The AAA Texas 500 takes place Sunday at 2PM ET from Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
Truex is the points leader right now by 17, but hasn’t locked up a spot in the final race quite yet. He has a series-best seven wins in 2017. Truex has yet to win at this track, but has an average finish of 13.6 and a driver rating of 94.1.
Busch is second in the point standings, but has punched his ticket to the final race following his win last weekend. Busch is a two-time winner at Texas in his career with an average finish of 11.7 and a driver rating of 101.5.
Larson is no longer in the playoffs, as he was eliminated after the second stage. Larson has four wins in 2017. Larson has yet to win at Texas in his career, but he did finish second there in the spring.
Harvick is fourth in the standings right now, 64 points out of first and three points ahead of fifth with two races left in the third stage. Harvick has never won at Texas in his career, but has an average finish of 11.7 and a driver rating of 91.4 at the track.
