Pennzoil 400 Predictions
The NASCAR Monster Energy Series heads to Las Vegas today for the running of the Pennzoil 400 at 3:30PM ET. Here’s some drivers we think should contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kyle Busch is favored to win today, as he is getting 4/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Brad Keselowski (5/1), Kevin Harvick (11/2) and Kyle Larson (7/1). The Pennzoil 400 is set to take place today at 3:30PM ET from Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.
52000 Kevin Harvick 11/2
Harvick is a two-time winner of this race and the defending champion. Harvick has an average finish of 15.4 at this track with a driver rating of 100.4. Harvick is off to a slow start to the 2019 season. He was one of the most consistent drivers in the series last year and I believe he should be in the mix to win today.
52002 Martin Truex Jr. 10/1
Truex Jr. picked up a win in this event in 2017 and he has been consistently in the mix at this track. His average finish at Vegas is 11.8 over 14 races, which is one of the best averages in today’s field. Truex is coming off a second-place finish last week to get himself back on track after a poor run in Daytona. The 2017 series champion has some really good value today and I think he can pull out the win and get you a nice payday.
52006 Ryan Blaney 20/1
Blaney is a nice dark horse option to consider if you are looking for a huge payout today. Blaney has competed at Vegas five times and has four top-10 finishes. His driver rating of 95.0 at the track is among the top-10 in the field. Blaney has been a playoff driver his last two seasons and has picked up wins in each of his last two seasons as well. Off to a poor start this year, Blaney needs a momentum swing and I think it can come at a track he’s been steady at.
