Powershares QQQ 300 Predictions

The NASCAR Xfinity Series gets underway this afternoon with the running of the Powershares QQQ 300. Which drivers do we like to contend for the win?

According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, Joey Logano is favored in this race, as he has +450 odds. Other short odds to win are Chase Elliott (+500) and Kyle Larson (+650). The Powershares QQQ 300 takes place today at 2:30PM ET from Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Bet on NASCAR Odds

Joey Logano is the most accomplished driver in this field as a Cup Series regular. He is a former Daytona 500 champion and he came in second in the race at Daytona in 2016. In a field without a lot of experienced drivers, especially at Daytona International Speedway, Logano should be the man to beat. He could use some momentum heading into Sunday’s big race and I like him to have a strong run.

Chase Elliott won this race in 2016 and is coming off a win in the Can-Am Duels on Thursday night. Elliott should be able to build on that by putting together a strong run in today’s Xfinity Series race. He also has been the pole sitters for the last two Daytona 500s so he is able to get around this track as fast as anyone. If Elliott can avoid wrecks, he should be able to win this race.

Austin Dillon is listed with +1300 odds to win this race and I like those odds for a driver that has finished in the top 5 of this event the last three years. Dillon tends to perform well when he drives in this series. He had seven top-5 finishes in the 2017 season while having six other top-10 finishes as well. While wins haven’t racked up for him, he puts himself in position to win. When you do that, you have the opportunity to capitalize on an opening.
