TicketGuardian 500 Predictions
The NASCAR Monster Energy Series competes out West in Arizona today for the running of the TicketGuardian 500 at 3:30PM ET. Here’s some drivers we think should contend for the victory.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch are favored to win, as each has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Brad Keselowski (8/1), while three others have 10/1 odds. The TicketGuardian 500 is set to take place today at 3:30PM ET from ISM Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.
Kevin Harvick 3/1
Harvick has really dominated this race, winning five times over his career. He has won three of the last four years and is the defending champion as well. Harvick has won nine times at Phoenix in his career and has an average finish of 9.3 at the track over 32 races. His driver rating here is 111.0, which is best in the field. Harvick certainly seems like he will be the man to beat here today.
Denny Hamlin 15/1
Hamlin has some pretty good value here, as he has done well at Phoenix over his career. Though he has just one win, which was this race in 2012, his overall numbers are strong. Hamlin has an average finish of 11.6 at the track and a driver rating of 96.7. Hamlin is always a contender and to get him at 15/1 odds is a pretty nice deal. I think he provides a lot of upside for today’s race.
Kyle Larson 22/1
Larson has been steady so far this year, placing 12th or better in all three races, but he could use a real boost today to solidify that he is in the mix for a championship. Larson has competed in Phoenix 10 times and has three top-5 finishes. He was runner-up in this race in 2017 and has an average finish of 14.2 at the track with a 92.1 driver rating. He’s certainly not the favorite, but Larson has good value as a dark horse winner. If you are looking for a big payout opportunity, Larson may be your driver.
