Drive for the Cure 300 Predictions
The NASCAR Xfinity Series waves the green flag on the Drive for the Cure 300 later today. Here’s our predictions for this race.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Ryan Blaney is favored this weekend, as he has +225 odds. Other short odds to win are Erik Jones (+350), Daniel Suarez (+450) and William Byron (+550). The Drive for the Cure 300 takes place today at 3PM ET from Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.
Bet on the Drive for the Cure 300
Ryan Blaney seems like a safe pick as the favorite. He is coming off a win in the last race at Dover, his second of the 2017 season. His other win was the first race at Charlotte. Blaney has finished first or second in seven of the nine races he has competed in. I like another strong run from Blaney today.
William Byron is a driver I continue to put faith in. The 19-year-old driver has three wins in his rookie year in the Xfinity Series. He has had some bumps along the way, but usually puts together big runs in stretches. He is coming off a third-place finish in the last race at Dover. That usually gets paired with another top-5 finish. I like Byron to look stronger in his second run at Charlotte today.
Elliott Sadler has +1000 odds to win today and I think there is a lot of good value for him. He has posted 21 top-10 finishes this year as well as 11 top-5 finishes. While Sadler has yet to find a win this year, he has proven to be someone that is in the mix. Eventually that will pay off for him. He was second in this race a year ago as well, so he knows how to fly around this track.
