According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Paul is a clear favorite at 1/2 odds to lead the league in assists per game this upcoming season. The player with the next best odds is Rajon Rondo of the Kings, although he might as well be considered a long shot given that his odds are 5/1. John Wall of the Wizards is also 11/2 to lead the NBA in assists per game.

Paul lead the league in assists per game last year with 10.2 APG, although Wall was right behind him with a mark of 10.0. Ty Lawson of the Nuggets was third at 9.6 APG, while Russell Westbrook was fourth at 8.6 APG and Rondo rounded out the top 5 with 7.9 APG.
