Westbrook is coming into this season as the clear face of the Oklahoma City Thunder with a new contract and the departure of Kevin Durant. The point guard is entering his ninth season with the team and averaged 23.5 points, 10.4 assists, 7.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game last season. In 2014-15, when Durant was injured for a big chunk of the season, Westbrook put up 28.1 points per game. With Durant gone, OKC will be relying even more on Westbrook.

Curry has won the NBA MVP the last two years and he now enters his eighth season with the Warriors. He set a new NBA record for 3-pointers last year, making 402 while shooting 45.4 percent from the arc. He average 30.1 points and 6.7 assists while leading Golden State to a record 73 wins. The issue for Curry is the talent he plays with, like Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and the new addition of Durant.

James has won the MVP award four times, last doing so in 2012-13 while with the Miami Heat. He is coming into the 14th season of his NBA career. Last year he averaged 25.3 points, 6.8 assists and 7.4 rebounds per game. He led the Cavs to the NBA title, which was the bigger goal. As he continues to get older, Cleveland could be looking to rest him at times for the playoffs.
