Bucks vs. Hornets NBA Predictions Against the Spread 11/1/17

Bucks vs. Hornets Pick

Are the Charlotte Hornets going to cover the spread Wednesday night when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at 7PM EST?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Hornets are a 3.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 204 points.

The Bucks come in with a 4-3 record after a 110-91 home loss to the Thunder Tuesday night. Charlotte is 4-3 following a 104-99 win at the Grizzlies. Milwaukee won three of four meetings straight up and ATS last season. The over-under went 2-2.

In the Bucks’ loss Tuesday, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 28 points along with eight rebounds and three assists. Khris Middleton was the next-leading scorer with nine points to go with seven rebounds and two steals. Rashad Vaughn scored nine off the bench, while Thon Maker and Mirza Teletovic both scored eight. The Bucks were outscored 60-43 in the first half.

The Hornets were paced by Kemba Walker at Memphis as he tallied 27 points and six assists. Jeremy Lamb had 17 points and eight rebounds. Malik Monk contributed 13 points, four rebounds and three assists. Cody Zeller recorded 11 points and eight rebounds. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 10 points and six boards. Charlotte outscored the hosts 31-17 in the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee is 6-0 ATS in its last six meetings in Charlotte. The over is 4-0 in the Bucks’ last four road games.

Bet on Bucks vs. Hornets

The Bucks are still likely to be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference and might hit their stride when Jabari Parker returns to action around February, but they were shown the door at their own arena by Oklahoma City. And now with travel on no days of rest, Milwaukee gets to face a Charlotte squad on rest and playing some good basketball. This spot is great to bet on the Hornets as pretty relatively small favorites.
