Bucks vs. Rockets Prediction
Are the Rockets a good bet to cover tonight against the Bucks following their loss last night to the Heat?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Rockets are 6.5-point home favorites tonight versus the Bucks while the over/under is sitting at 227 points. Houston opened as high as -8.5 before the line was bet down two full points, while the total hit the board at 229 before dropping two points as well.
Jabari Parker scored 23 points in Monday’s loss to the 76ers while shooting 9-of-17 from the field and 3-of-5 from the free-throw line. He also added five rebounds, one assist and two steals in 35 minutes, and has now scored 22-plus points in five out of his last six games. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 23 points in the loss, but fouled out in 29 minutes.
Eric Gordon hit just 3-of-17 shots and was 1-of-10 from 3-point range for seven points, one rebound and one assist in last night’s loss to the Heat. James Harden did score 40 points in the loss while adding 10 assists and 12 rebounds but didn’t get too much help. It was Harden’s 13th triple-double of the season.

OUR PREDICTION: I love the Rockets coming off a loss, even though they’re playing on back-to-back nights. In fact, the zero rest doesn’t bother me either because Houston is 8-3 at the betting window in its last 11 games playing on back-to-back nights. The Rockets are also 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 games following defeat and are 19-7 against the number in their last 26 games coming off an ATS loss. The Bucks, meanwhile, have failed to cover in five of their last seven games and are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games playing on one day of rest.
WEDNESDAY NBA PREDICTION: HOUSTON ROCKETS -6.5
