Can the Hornets pull off the upset tonight as a home underdog versus the Cavs at 7:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Hornets are 3-point home underdogs versus the Cavs while the over/under currently sits at 214.5 points, down from 215.

Cleveland has lost six of its last 10 games and is just 3-6-1 against the spread during that timeframe. The Cavs also have a losing ATS record on the year at 31-36, plus are just 14-21 at the betting window on the road this season. 

In their 126-113 loss to the Nuggets in Denver on Wednesday, Kevin Love played on 22 minutes, posting nine points with seven boards and two steals. Kyrie Irving also scored 33 points in the loss, making 11-of-22 field goals and seven-of-seven free throws. After the game, a frustrated LeBron James said: “It ain’t about a group. It’s about individuals. We’ve got to be more, just do more. It ain’t about no group. You can’t preach toughness. You’ve got to have it.”

Charlotte has now won six of its last 10 games and has been solid at the betting window over that span, covering in six of those 10 contests. The Hornets are still just 31-37 against the spread on the year, however, which includes a 16-19 ATS record at home.

On Wednesday, Kemba Walker needed 21 shots to score 22 points, adding aseven assists, with three rebounds and one clutch 3-pointer. Marco Belinelli also scored 20 points, while Frank Kaminsky had another productive night while shooting 6-of-13 from the field with four 3-pointers for 18 points.
