Celtics vs. 76ers Prediction
With the way the 76ers play defense, points shouldn’t be at a premium tonight when the Celtics visit Philadelphia at 6:00PM ET.
After opening as a 10.5-point favorite the Celtics are now -11 to beat the Sixers according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI. As for the total, the number opened at 214 and now sits at 214.5 points.

Boston enters play this evening having split its last 10 games and is 4-6 against the spread during that same span. Philadelphia has lost nine of 10 and is 5-5 against the spread, including 15-19 ATS at home this season. Boston is 16-17 against the number on the road in 2015-16.
Outside of a 99-94 loss to the Wizards at home in their second to last game, the 76ers continue to hand out points in bunches. They surrendered 111 points in a loss to the Thunder on Friday night and somehow managed to allow 125 points to Detroit and 131 points to the lowly Nets in back-to-back games on March 12 and March 15, as well.

The Celtics won’t have any problems putting up points tonight. The over is 5-2 in their last seven road games and is 21-9 in their last 30 games versus a team with a winning percentage below .400. Look for Isaiah Thomas, who leads Boston in points per game (22.0) and is coming off a 20-point effort in his last game, to lead the Celtics to another scoring barrage against the Sixers.
