Warriors vs. Rockets Prediction
The Golden State Warriors steamrolled the Houston Rockets in the second half last game to force tonight’s Game 7. Will Golden State continue to overwhelm Houston or will it be the host Rockets that advances to the NBA Finals?

Paul doubtful for Game 7
The NBA gods have been cruel to veteran point guard Chris Paul over the years and this year is no different as he has played a massive role in leading the Rockets to this point, but suffered a hamstring injury in Game 5 and was forced to miss the last game. His presence was clearly missed in Houston’s 115-86 defeat. The Rockets actually led 39-22 after one quarter, but the lead was cut to 10 by halftime. After the break, Houston was outscored 64-25 and it only scored nine points in the fourth quarter. James Harden led the way with 32 points. Paul is doubtful to play tonight, but the Rockets have not ruled out the possibility as he will be a game-time decision.
Thompson catches fire
Houston had no answer for Golden State shooting guard Klay Thompson as he poured in 35 points in the blowout win. He shot 13-of-23 from the floor including 9-of-14 from 3-point range. He added six rebounds, four steals and two assists. Steph Curry contributed 29 points on 12-of-23 shooting, connecting on 5-of-14 3-point attempts. Kevin Durant scored 23. Draymond Green only had four points but also accounted for 10 rebounds, nine assists, five blocked shots and four steals.
NBA Betting Trends
Golden State
The under is 4-0 in the last four Warriors games overall. The under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings in Houston.
Houston
The Rockets are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a straight up loss. Houston is 5-1 ATS in its last six games following a loss of 10 or more points.
Prediction:
The Rockets have bounced back seemingly every time they have suffered an ugly loss in the playoffs. I don’t see why tonight can’t be any different, even if Paul is out again which seems likely. Harden can take over any game and he is still surrounded by shooters who spread the floor and a workhorse in the interior with Clint Capela. I feel like oddsmakers have pushed the spread a little too far due to Paul’s injury. Houston’s fans will be rocking at the Toyota Center tonight and I think we’re going to have a great basketball game in which Houston will cover if not win outright.
