Golden State is 8-2 over its last 10 games but has failed to cover in six of 10, while Memphis is just 3-7 in its last 10 contests and 5-5 at the betting window during that span.

The Warriors, meanwhile, are closing in on the NBA record for most wins in a single season but coach Steve Kerr hinted that he will let his players decided if they need rest during the final three games of the season. “We’re going to talk about it Friday,” Kerr said. “We’ve sort of been putting it off for as long as we were able to. Now that we have [the No. 1 seed], I’m inclined to give some guys a rest, if they need it.”
