Kobe believes Lakers can make playoffs
LOS ANGELES, CA (The Spread) – Can the Lakers actually make the playoffs next season? Kobe Bryant believes so.
In an interview with Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, Bryant said that he’s “crazy” and loves playing when asked about why he still puts his body through the grind of a NBA season. Bryant also believes the Lakers can make the playoffs in 2016.
“Of course it can. Absolutely. We have talented players in their respective positions. We have some really young players. How exactly will the pieces of the puzzle fit? We really don’t know. We are going to [training] camp trying to piece this together just like every other team does. We have to figure out what our strengths are, figure out what our weaknesses are. And every time we step on the court we are going to try to hide our weaknesses and step up to our strengths.”
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Lakers are 200/1 long shots to win the NBA championship in 2016. They’re also 100/1 long shots to win the Western Conference title next season.
