Bucks still rolling
Milwaukee is riding a five-game win streak right now following a 123-111 win at home over Sacramento on Monday. The Bucks have covered the spread in all five wins as well. Milwaukee is 46-7 on the season, 21-4 on the road, 31-22 against the spread and 26-26-1 with the over/under total.
The Bucks have the league’s best offense, averaging 119.8 points per game while shooting 48.2 percent as a team. Defensively, Milwaukee is giving up just 107.3 points per game while holding opponents to an impressive 40.9 percent shooting. The Bucks will be without their leader, Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight. He averages 30 points, 13.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. Khris Middleton is averaging 20.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest, while Eric Bledsoe is putting up 15.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists per contest.
Pacers continue slide
Indiana’s losing streak has bumped up to six games following a 106-105 loss at home to Brooklyn on Monday. The Pacers are just 1-5 against the spread during this losing streak. Indiana is now 31-23 on the season, 18-10 at home, 28-25-1 against the spread and 29-24-1 with the over.
The Pacers are only averaging 109.6 points per game on offense this season, while shooting 47.7 percent from the field. Defensively, Indiana is giving up 107.5 points per game while opponents shoot 44.9 percent against them. Domantas Sabonis is leading the team this season with 18.3 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. TJ Warren is adding 18.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
NBA Betting Trends
Milwaukee
The Bucks have covered the spread in five straight as a favorite and in five of their last six as a road favorite.
Indiana
The Pacers are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games as a home underdog and 0-5 ATS in their last five home games.
Prediction:
Milwaukee has won and covered in two meetings with Indiana this season. The Bucks are without the Greek Freak tonight, but I still like them to be able to grab another win at home. No Giannis will impact both sides of the ball, but the Bucks still have the scoring and defense to add to the woes of the Pacers. Indiana just can’t get itself on track right now, as the return of Victor Oladipo has sparked a losing streak instead of providing a spark.
NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -2
