NBA DFS Predictions: Who should you play on Friday, March 2, 2018?

Friday’s NBA DFS Predictions

The NBA Schedule for Friday, March 2, 2018 is stacked, so how do you weed out the top performers for the night? Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy predictions for today’s slate.

Point Guard – Suns’ Elfrid Payton (vs. Oklahoma City, 9PM ET) $6,800

While many will take the opposing point guard today, I would suggest continuing to ride this hot streak of Payton while the price is still affordable. Payton has scored at least 33 fantasy points in three straight games, performing well above value. He clearly is getting a lot of focus in the new Phoenix offense and has posted double-doubles in two of his last three games. Making that even more appetizing is that one double-double was with points and rebounds, while the other was points and assists. He is racking up non-scoring stats right now.

Latest NBA odds for Friday, March 2, 2018

Shooting Guard – Bucks’ Khris Middleton (vs. Indiana, 8PM ET) $6,600

Middleton is an appealing play tonight with the Greek Freak dealing with an eye injury that could impact his play, or potentially keep him out altogether. Middleton has usually been the beneficiary when Giannis is not on the floor. He is coming off a cold shooting tonight, but still managed 17 points at Detroit. Tonight he is back home, facing the Pacers. In two games with the Pacers, Middleton is averaging 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Those numbers could go up tonight with a boost in offensive attention.

Small Forward – Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins (at Utah, 10:30PM ET) $6,500

Wiggins is on a nice run right now, scoring 30 or more fantasy points in four straight. The T’Wolves are coming off a back-to-back in which Karl-Anthony Towns dominated last night. I would expect KAT to have his numbers dip a little bit, which opens the door for Wiggins to produce more on offense. Wiggins has taken at least 15 shots in his last four and I see even more attempts tonight against the Jazz. This road trip has been productive for him and he’s proven he can take over the offense with the loss of Jimmy Butler. Take him while the price remains lower.

Bet on NBA for Friday, March 2, 2018

Power Forward – Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell (vs. New York, 10:30PM ET) $4,700

Harrell is a very cheap price tonight that is certain to perform over value and possibly double his fantasy average against the Knicks. Harrell has seen an increase in minutes over his last two games which has led to a combined 58 fantasy points. Harrell has scored in double figures in four straight. While his rebounding numbers could be better, he is still picking up assists and blocks as well. With his increase in minutes and favorable matchup, I like Harrell a lot on Friday night.

Center – Nuggets’ Nikloa Jokic (at Memphis, 8PM ET) $9,700

Jokic has been a hot fantasy play as of late, but people may cool on him after scoring just 34 fantasy points in his last outing. However, foul trouble and cold shooting early played a big role in that. When Jokic is on the floor, he produces. He is almost certain for a double-double in rebounds and points while pushing for a high assist total as well. Prior to his last outing, Jokic had produced at least 54 fantasy points in four straight, with three over 62. I think Jokic returns to that form tonight against the Grizzlies.
