NBA DFS Predictions: Why Kevin Durant is a must-play Wednesday 3/14/18

Wednesday’s DFS Picks

The NBA Schedule for Wednesday, March 14 features just 14 games. Here’s our NBA Daily Fantasy suggestions for the night.

Point Guard – Heat’s Tyler Johnson (at Sacramento, 10PM ET) $5,000

Johnson continues to be a great value play with Dwyane Wade out for Miami. He is logging more minutes and a bigger part of the offense. Johnson has posted over 20 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games and faces a Sacramento team that lacks in strong defensive guards.

Latest NBA odds for Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Shooting Guard – Lakers’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (at Golden State, 10:30PM ET) $6,000

In a game that is likely to be a shootout, KCP provides a good option. He has posted 32+ fantasy points in three straight and is averaging 15 points and 6.7 rebounds against the Warriors. I expect that number to increase tonight due to his improved shooting from the arc lately. Against Cleveland and Denver, Pope shot .500 from 3-point land.

Small Forward – Warriors’ Kevin Durant (vs. L.A. Lakers, 10:30PM ET) $11,400

KD is my big-money choice for the night. He has a great matchup against the Lakers and the Warriors will be without Steph Curry and Draymond Green due to injuries. Durant has scored over 60 fantasy points in three straight with Curry dealing with his ankle and there is no reason to believe that will change tonight, especially with multiple days off.

Bet on NBA for Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Power Forward – Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma (at Golden State, 10:30PM ET) $6,600

I am not one to suggest playing multiple Lakers often, but Kuzma seems like a guy that can push for 40+ fantasy points tonight. He is coming off 50.75 points against the Nuggets last night and gets to face a Golden State team that is without Draymond Green in the paint. Against the Warriors, Kuzma is averaging 26 points and 10 rebounds over two games this season.

Center – Kings’ Willie Cauley-Stein (vs. Miami, 10PM ET) $5,900

Stein is someone that has a cheap price and has a really favorable matchup tonight with Hassan Whiteside out for Miami. Stein has been playing steadily over 30 minutes, which should open the door for a double-double tonight along with some blocks and assists. He has posted over 20 fantasy points in nine straight. While we need more than that tonight, I think the matchup allows for Stein to push for 40 fantasy points.
