LeBron James is going to have to be the one to lead Cleveland out of this 2-0 hole in the series. James has had a pretty good effort so far, but he seems to be tiring in the second half after expending so much energy trying to defend the Warriors. In Game 1, James put up 28 points with 15 rebounds and 8 assists. He followed that up in Game 2 with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists. It was his eighth triple-double in his NBA Finals career.
A double-double is nothing new for James. He has six in this postseason alone. He also has two triple-doubles during this 2017 playoffs. For the playoffs, James is averaging 32 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. During the regular season, James averaged 26.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.7 assists. While the teams are different than a year ago, the Cavs were in this same situation last year, being down 2-0 heading home for the series. James put up 32 points with 11 rebounds and 6 assists in a win over the Warriors.
