Kings vs. 76ers Prediction
Following their ugly loss in Chicago on Sunday, are the 76ers a good bet to cover versus the Kings tonight at 6:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the 76ers are now 2-point home underdogs versus the Kings after the game opened as a pick’em. As for the total, the number hit the board at 206.5 but has been bet down to 206 at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.
The Kings are coming off a 109-106 win at Charlotte on Saturday and have now won three of their last four games. In their win over the Hornets, DeMarcus Cousins hit 13-of-22 form the field in route to 35 points with a whopping 18 rebounds, four assists and one blocked shot. Darren Collison also added 17 points with two assists and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes of play.
The Sixers have played well overall but they’re now coming off back-to-back losses after losing 121-108 to the Bulls on Sunday. Robert Covington double-doubled in the loss, racking up 21 points and 12 rebounds with three assists, three steals, three blocks and four 3-pointers. T.J. McConnell also dished out 12 assists, scoring 14 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field. It’ll be interesting to see if Jahlil Okafor will return to the bench for the Sixers tonight. He’s been out with a knee injury and didn’t play Sunday.

OUR PREDICTION: The Kings have been a horrible bet against the Sixers, who have dominated Sacramento at the betting window. The Kings are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games in Philadelphia and are an ugly 4-18 against the number in their last 22 games overall versus the 76ers. The underdog is also a perfect 5-0 at the betting window in the last five meetings between these two teams and the Sixers are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven home games.
