The NBA action gets kicked off tonight at 7:00PM ET when the Miami Heat host the Philadelphia 76ers at 7:00PM ET. The Heat, whom oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made 10.5-point favorites, are one win away from sending the Sixers home to watch the rest of the postseason at home.
That said, it was Philly that showed some life in an 88-82 victory on Sunday. Louis Williams and Evan Turner each scored 17 points in the victory, while Andre Iguodala added 16 points and Elton Brand finished with 15 points and 11 boards.
In the second game of the night, the San Antonio Spurs hope to stave off elimination when they host a Memphis Grizzlies team that has had them on the ropes for three of the first four games. The Spurs, which owned the Western Conference’s best record during the year, are one loss away from watching their season flush down the drain.
According to latest NBA trends, the Grizzlies are 9-0 against the spread in their last nine games against the Spurs, and 5-0 ATS in their last five trips to San Antonio. The Spurs are 6.5-point favorites on Wednesday, but the underdog is 7-3 against the number in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
The night wraps up with a Game 5 matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder. The visiting Nuggets are 6.5-point underdogs as they try to keep their season alive with a win. (Denver trails in this series, three-games-to-one.)
