Bulls vs. Pistons Pick
Can the Detroit Pistons pull even with the Chicago Bulls in the standings when the two meet up tonight at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Pistons are favored at home today, as they are getting odds of -6 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the game is listed at 204.5 points. These two have split the first two meetings this season, with the home team winning and covering in both instances.

Detroit is coming off a 136-106 win at Philadelphia on Saturday. The Pistons are now 30-32 on the season and in the eighth spot in the East, but just a game behind the Bulls for the seventh seed. Detroit is also 30-32 against the spread this season, including an 18-13 mark ATS at home. The Pistons score just 102 points per game while allowing 102.2 on defense. When at home, Detroit averages 104.4 points per game on defense while allowing 99.8. Tobias Harris is leading the team with 16.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game while Andre Drummond adds 14.7 points and 13.9 rebounds per contest.
The Bulls are coming off a 101-91 loss to the Clippers at home this weekend to move to 31-31 on the season. The Bulls are 31-31 against the spread on the season and 15-15 ATS on the road. Chicago is averaging just 102.6 points per game on offense while allowing 103.1 on defense. The Bulls are scoring just 101.6 points per game away from home and allowing 104 on defense. Jimmy Butler is averaging 23.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game to lead the team while Dwyane Wade is adding 18.9 points per contest. Wade is dealing with a thigh injury, however, that has him questionable to play tonight.
I would normally like the Bulls tonight, as the Pistons haven’t been terribly successful against playoff-contending teams over the season. However, Chicago is coming in beat up, with Wade questionable, and prior to the big win at Cleveland the Bulls had lost their last three on the road in a big way. That included losses at Minnesota and Phoenix. Look for those road woes to continue tonight.
