LINE MOVEMENT
Milwaukee opened as 6.5-point road favorites to beat Memphis before the line climbed up to 8 at the majority of online sportsbooks. As for the total, it hit the board at 205.5 but was bet down slightly to 205.
PUBLIC BETTING
As of this writing, 80% of the betting tickets are on the Bucks to cover the spread while 51% of the betting tickets wagered online are on the over.
KEY INJURY TO WATCH
Malcolm Brogdon (knee) remains out for the Bucks while Mike Conley will miss the rest of the season for the Grizzlies. Tyreke Evans (ribs) and Andrew Harrison (wrist) are also out for Memphis.
BETTING STRATEGY
The Bucks have struggled both straight up and against the spread but I still think they’re worth laying 8 points against this God awful Memphis team. The Grizzlies are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games overall, are 1-4 against the number in their last five home games, and they did not cover the spread in six of their last seven conference tilts. At least the Bucks are 5-0 at the betting window in their last five road games when facing an opponent with a losing home record. This game comes at the right time for Milwaukee.
OUR PREDICTION: MILWAUKEE BUCKS -8
