Raptors vs. Grizzlies Prediction
Will the Raptors end their current skid with a win and/or cover over the Grizzlies at 8:00PM ET tonight?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Grizzlies are 5.5-point home favorites versus the Raptors after opening as a 4-point favorite. As for the total, the number currently sits at 201.5 after opening at 203.5.
The Raptors have now lost four-straight games following their 108-106 loss to the Spurs on Tuesday night. They’ve also failed to cover in four consecutive games after they didn’t cover as a 2-point home favorite last night. With DeMar DeRozan (ankle) sitting out, Kyle Lowry scored 30 points on 9-of-23 shooting (11-of-12 from the free-throw line), while adding five rebounds, two assists, one block and a 3-pointer in 42 minutes.
The Grizzlies haven’t lost four straight like the Raptors but they haven’t exactly been racking up the wins either. Following their 119-95 loss to the Rockets last Saturday, Memphis is now just 1-3 in its last four games. Troy Daniels will not play tonight due to a Grade 1 MCL sprain, so look for Vince Carter to get some extra minutes.
