Wizards vs. Bucks Prediction

Are the Washington Wizards a sound underdog play tonight when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks at 8:00 p.m. ET?

CURRENT ODDS

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook YouWager, the Bucks are 3-point home favorites to beat the Wizards tonight. As for the total, it sits at 211.5 points.

LINE MOVEMENT

There hasn’t been a ton of activity on this game as of this writing, but the point spread did drop from Milwaukee -3.5 to Washington +3. The total also moved after hitting the board at 210.5. It has climbed a full point to 211.5 at most online sportsbooks.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of this writing, 56% of the betting tickets are on the Bucks to cover the point spread, while a whopping 92% of the betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the over.

KEY INJURY TO WATCH

John Wall (knee) remains out for the Wizards while the Bucks have a few depth pieces out, including guard Malcolm Brogdon (knee) and Matthew Dellavedova (ankle).

BETTING STRATEGY

I’m not going to over think this one. The Wizards are 7-3 both straight up and against the spread over their last 10 games and they’re catching points against a good but not great Milwaukee team. Washington is 6-1 against the spread in its last seven road games, is 4-1 against the number in its last five games overall, and is 8-1 ATS in its last nine games when its opponent scores 100 points or more in its previous game. The underdog and road team are also 4-0 against the spread, respectively, in the last four meetings between these two teams.

OUR PREDICTION: WASHINGTON WIZARDS +3
