Western Conference Finals Odds
The Western Conference Finals are set and it should be a great showdown between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. Who do oddsmakers like?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Golden State is the favorite to win this series and return to the NBA Finals, as the Warriors have odds of -600 to win, while the Thunder have been given a money line of +400 to prevail.
The Warriors have the home-court advantage thanks to a 73-9 record during the season. Golden State was 39-2 at home this year and 34-7 on the road. They disposed of the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers in the playoffs, both in five games. Oklahoma City is the third seed in the West after going 55-27 overall, 32-9 at home and 23-18 on the road. The Thunder beat the Dallas Mavericks in five to open the playoffs and then surprised many by beating the San Antonio Spurs in six games.
These two teams met three times during the season, with Golden State winning all three contests. Golden State had a 116-108 win at home on Feb. 6. The Warriors then had a 121-118 OT win at OKC back on Feb. 27. That was the infamous comeback win for the Warriors where Steph Curry hit a 32-foot game-winner in OT. The two then met on March 3, with the Warriors getting a 121-106 win at home. Dating back to last season, the Warriors have won six of their last seven meetings with OKC.
