Magic hit the road
Orlando is coming off a four-game home stand where it went 3-1. The Magic have won and covered in four of their last five games coming into tonight. Orlando is 18-20 on the season, 5-12 on the road, 17-19-2 against the spread and 21-16-1 with the under.
The Magic have the league’s top defense, but the league’s worst offense. Orlando allows just 103.4 points per game while opponents shoot 44.8 percent against them. Offensively, the Magic put up just 103.7 points per game while shooting only 43.4 percent as a team. Orlando has some injury issues for this game. DJ Augustin is doubtful to play tonight due to a knee issue while Aaron Gordon is questionable with a calf injury. Nikola Vucevic is leading the team with 18.6 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Evan Fournier is adding 18.8 points and 3.2 assists per contest.
Suns drop another at home
Phoenix is coming off back-to-back losses at home to the Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings. The Suns were favored in both contests. The Suns are 14-23 on the season, 7-14 at home, 20-16-1 against the spread and 21-16 with the over.

NBA Betting Trends
Orlando
The Magic have covered the spread in seven straight road games against a team with a losing home record. They have also covered in four straight when on 1 day of rest.
Phoenix
The Suns are just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight games as a home favorite and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight home games against a team with a losing road record.
Prediction:
Orlando owns a 128-114 win over Phoenix at home back on Dec. 4. The Magic have won five of the last six meetings with the Suns as well, including three wins in Phoenix. Due to a lack of offense, it can be hard to trust Orlando on the road, but the Magic have shown an ability to excel against good offensive teams as of late. The Magic have been able to control pace of play and throw the offensive-minded teams off their game. Phoenix has also shown a consistent ability not to defend, which should open the door for the Magic to see a boost in production tonight. Orlando is the mentally tougher team and the more unified team in terms of chemistry.
NBA Prediction: Orlando Magic +2.5
