Suns vs. Warriors Prediction
The Suns keep losing but they managed to cover a large spread on the road Saturday night in Portland. Catching even more points tonight versus the defending champs, will Phoenix cover again when it takes on the Golden State Warriors at 8:30 p.m. ET?

Phoenix Suns Fantasy Spin
Devin Booker made 7-of-19 from the field for 23 points with two rebounds, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes during a 127-120 loss to the Blazers on Saturday. Excluding this rough one, the Suns are playing a little better lately and Booker playing off the ball more may have helped. After the Knicks win on Wednesday, he talked about playing more with Tyler Johnson. “I get to play off the ball some, but everybody’s playing well — Kelly [Oubre Jr.] too,” he said. “Everyone takes a load off me and it’s a big help. Every win that we’ve gotten this year has always been a collective team win.” The Suns losing this game is good news as they look to secure a top-three spot in the lottery to give them the best odds for Zion Williamson. Booker should be good to go as long as he’s healthy.
Golden State Warriors Fantasy Spin
Kevin Durant bruised his hip late on Friday against the Nuggets and went to the locker room to have it tended to, but he is fine. The injury didn’t affect him during the game, making 10-of-15 from the field for 26 points with four rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes. Durant didn’t check out until 3:16 left in the fourth with the Dubs up 19, so he probably would’ve stayed in had it been close. We’re keeping him off the injury report and expect him to be ready to roll on Sunday.
NBA Betting Trends
Phoenix
The Suns are 9-23 against the spread in their last 32 games versus the Pacific and are 2-5 against the number in their last seven road games despite covering last night against the Trail Blazers.
Golden State
The Warriors are 13-3 against the spread in their last 16 games versus an opponent with a winning percentage below .400.
Prediction
I faded the Suns last night and despite Phoenix falling behind Portland early, they were still able to climb back into the game enough to cover as a double-digit underdog. I believe I am now 0 for the century in Phoenix games. That said, the Warriors aren’t firing on all cylinders at the moment, failing to cover the spread in 10 of their previous 12 games, posting a 7-19-1 ATS record in their last 27 home games and going 0-7 against the number in their last seven games following a win. The Suns, meanwhile, are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games overall and are 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero rest. I’ll take the points.
