Phoenix has lost nine of its last 10 games entering play today and is just 3-7 against the spread in its last 10 games as well. Following their 130-120 loss at Boston two nights ago, the Suns have now lost seven in a row, although they did cover as a 16-point underdog versus the Celtics. Devin Booker had an incredible night, scoring 70 points while adding eight rebounds.

Charlotte has played .500 ball over its last 10 games, splitting both on the hardwood and at the betting window. The Hornets fell to the Cavs 112-105 two nights ago as a 3-point home underdog. In the loss, Kemba Walker scored 28 points while Marco Belinelli added 22 points and three assists.

OUR PREDICTION: The Suns have covered the spread in seven of the last nine meetings between these two teams and are 9-2 at the betting window in their last 11 games versus Southeast opponents. The Hornets, meanwhile, are just 4-11 against the number in their last 15 home games, are 4-11-1 against the number in their last 16 games versus an oppnent with a losing record and are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous contest. This is simply too many points to lay on an inconsistent Charlotte team.
