“It’s a special accomplishment any time you can do something that hasn’t been done before,” Steph Curry said. “It’s not going to be total dominance for 82 games.”

The Warriors didn’t open the season as favorites to defend their NBA title, but now they’re currently sitting atop the odds list. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, Golden State is a 2/1 favorite to win the 2016 NBA Championship. The Cavs, who opened as favorites to win it all this season after coming up short last year, have the next best odds at 13/5.

The Spurs, meanwhile, are 5/1 to win this year’s NBA title while the Clippers and Thunder are both 12/1, respectively. The Bulls are 22/1, the Heat are 30/1 and the Hawks, Rockets and Raptors are all 40/1, respectively. You can check out a full list of NBA futures odds here.
