Warriors win again, but fail to cover
With their 115-110 win over the Raptors on Tuesday night, the Warriors improved to 12-0 and became just the seventh team in NBA history to start the season with that record.
Golden State was aided by its MVP Stephen Curry, who scored 37 points while adding nine assists, two boards, two steals and five 3-pointers in the victory. He did turn the ball over seven times but without Curry, the Warriors wouldn’t have sniffed this 12-0 run.
For the second time in back-to-back games, however, Golden State failed to cover the spread. After covering three straight games, the Warriors failed to cover the number as a 16-point favorite in a 107-99 win over the Nets on Saturday and then failed to cover as a 9.5-point favorite last night.
Next up for the Warriors will be a road game in Los Angeles on Thursday night versus the Clippers at 10:30PM ET.
