Who will lead the NBA in RPG?
Will Andre Drummond lead the league in rebounds per game this season? The Detroit Pistons center is currently the odds favorite to accomplish the feat.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Drummond has 3/2 odds to lead the NBA in rebounds per game this season. The player with the next best odds is DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers, as he has odds of 2/1. Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets, meanwhile, has odds of 11/2 to lead the league in RPG.
Jordan led the league in rebounds per game last season, averaging 15.0 total RPG, which edged out Drummond’s 13.5. DeMarcus Cousins, who has odds of 11/1 to lead the NBA in rebounds per game this upcoming season, finished with a 12.7 RPG average in 2014-15. Pau Gasol (11.8) and Tyson Chandler (11.5) rounded out the top five.
Despite finishing in the top 5 last year, Gasol is listed among the long shots to lead the NBA in RPG this season. The Chicago Bull is 65/1 to accomplish the feat, as are Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets and Zach Randolph of the Memphis Grizzlies. Below is a complete list of this year’s odds.
