Cincinnati reached today’s championship game by routing Tulsa 80-61 as a 15.5-point favorite and then soundly beating UConn 81-71 as a 9.5-point favorite. The Bearcats have now won eight of their last 10 games and are 5-5 against the spread during that same span. They’re 16-13 against the spread on the season.

The Mustangs held off a hard-charging East Carolina team in their first game of the AAC tournament and then soundly beat Central Florida 70-59 on Saturday to advance to the title game. While they didn’t cover against the Pirates as a 19-point favorite, they did post a win at the betting window yesterday as an 8-point favorite versus the Knights.
