Creighton vs. Nebraska Prediction

Will Nebraska give No. 10 Creighton a game tonight when the two non-conference teams clash at 8:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bluejays are now 4-point road favorites versus the Cornhuskers after opening as a 5.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 146.5 and that’s where it currently sits.

CREIGHTON KEY TRENDS: The Bluejays have covered the spread in five of their last seven games overall and have cashed in seven of their last nine games as a favorite. They’re also 11-4 against the spread in their last 15 non-conference games, are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games following a win, and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games as a road favorite. They’re 9-2 at the betting window in their last 11 games versus Big Ten opponents as well.

NEBRASKA KEY TRENDS: The Cornhuskers are just 17-35-1 against the spread in their last 53 games versus a team with a winning record and are winless at the betting window in their last six games versus Big East opponents. They’re also 13-32-1 at the betting window in their last 46 games versus an opponent with a winning percentage above .600.

OUR PREDICTION: The Bluejays are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games in Lincoln and are 11-1 at the betting window in their last 12 games overall versus Nebraska. That said, the Bluejays have struggled to cover on the road, going 1-4 against the spread in their last five true road games. They’re also winless at 0-4 against the spread in their last four road games following three or more consecutive home games. Despite Creighton’s success over Nebraska, I like the Cornhuskers to give the Bluejays a game tonight on their home court.
