Four CBB Dogs to bet on Thursday
Here are four underdogs to fill your betting card with on Wednesday night in college basketball, including the Florida State Seminoles.
Florida State at Clemson, 9:00 p.m. ET
According to oddsmakers from online sports book YouWager, the Seminoles are now 3-point road underdogs to beat the Tigers after opening as 4.5-point pups. FSU is coming off an ugly 92-72 loss at N.C. State but I expect the ‘Noles to circle the wagons tonight against Clemson. FSU is 4-1-1 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams in Clemson and the underdog is 7-2-1 at the betting window in the last 10 meetings between these two teams overall.

Bet Tonight’s College Hoops Action
Ole Miss at Kentucky, 7:00 p.m. ET
The Wildcats look to be figuring things out just in time for the SEC tournament. They’ve won three straight, which includes wins over Alabama, at Arkansas and versus a hot Missouri team at home. They also covered the spread in all three of those games, which leads me to believe they’re overpriced tonight. The road team is 6-2 against the spread in the last eight meetings between these two teams while Kentucky has dropped four straight at the betting window in its last four games coming off a win of more than 20 points. With over 70% of betting tickets on the Wildcats, I’m fading the public.
College Basketball Prediction: Ole Miss +9
Rutgers at Minnesota, 8:00 p.m. ET
I’ll include Rutgers in my underdog section but be advised that the line has dropped significantly for this game and the Scarlet Knights could be favored by time you read this. For now, Rutgers is +1 after opening as a 2.5-point dog. The Scarlet Knights are just 1-9 over their last 10 games and are 3-7 against the spread over that span, but the Golden Gophers haven’t fared much better (1-9, 2-8 ATS). Minnesota is just 1-5 against the spread in its last six conference games and has failed to cover in 17 of its last 22 games overall. The line movement intrigues me, as sharp bettors appear to be all over the visiting dog.

Pittsburgh at Notre Dame, 7:00 p.m. ET
Pittsburgh is horrendous but Notre Dame is overpriced because of what Virginia did to the Panthers on Sunday. Pitt scored just seven points in the first half on its home court as the Cavaliers rolled to a 66-37 victory. But Notre Dame isn’t Virginia and for as bad as the Panthers are, they’ve also been a good play in this series (3-0-1 ATS in their last four games versus the Irish). The road team is also 3-1-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams while the underdog is 7-1-1 at the betting window in the last nine meetings.
