College Basketball Predictions: Will Auburn upset Missouri on the road?

College Basketball Predictions: Arkansas vs. Auburn 1/6/18 College Basketball Predictions: Arkansas vs. Auburn 1/6/18

Auburn vs. Missouri Pick

Can No. 19 go on the road and pick up a win over Missouri when the two meet up in SEC play tonight at 9PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Missouri is favored at home tonight, as the Tigers are getting odds of -1.5 points against Auburn. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 147.5 points. Tonight’s game takes place from Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri and will air live on the SEC Network.

Missouri is coming off a 60-49 loss at Texas A&M this past weekend. The Tigers have alternated wins and losses over their last eight games. Missouri is 13-6 overall, 3-3 in the SEC and 10-8 against the spread. The Tigers are averaging 75.1 points per game this season while holding opponents to 65.8 per game. Kassius Robertson has been leading Mizzou this year with 15.2 points per game while Jordan Barnett is adding 14.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per contest.

Auburn is coming off a 79-65 win over Georgia at home this weekend to bounce back from a 5-point loss at Alabama. The Tigers are now 17-2 overall, 5-1 in the SEC and 12-5 against the spread. Auburn is putting up 85.3 points per game this year while allowing 72.4 per contest. Bryce Brown is putting up 16.4 points per game to lead Auburn this year while Mustapha Heron is adding 15 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest.

Bet on Auburn vs. Missouri

Missouri has won five of the last eight meetings with Auburn, but Auburn has covered in two of the last three meetings and three of the last five. Missouri is not an easy out, especially on the Tigers’ home floor. However, Missouri is struggling on offense right now, putting up just 62.8 per game over their last five. That’s not going to be enough to get it done against an Auburn team that is averaging 80 per game over its last five. The public betting is slightly with Missouri, but I will take Auburn to get the upset win on the road.

CBB DAILY PREDICTION: AUBURN +1.5
