Memphis vs. UConn AAC Title Game Pick
The final tip-off for tournament week in college basketball will be today at 3:15PM ET when Memphis takes on UConn in the American Athletic Conference title game.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Huskies are now a 5.5-point favorite over the Tigers while the over/under is sitting at 138.5 points. UConn opened as a 5-point favorite before the line was bet up, while the total has been bet down a half point from the original number of 139.

UConn will be facing a team today in Memphis that it beat twice during the regular season. One of those wins included a 20-point beatdown at the FedEx Forum on February 4 and the other came in a 3-point UConn win in Storrs on January 9.
But this is still a dangerous Memphis team, led by AAC rookie of the year Dedric Lawson. He had 17 points and nine boards for the Tigers on Saturday, while senior Shaq Goodwin finished with 16 points. Ricky Tarrant Jr. went 0-for-4 from the floor, but made five three-pointers and scored 21 against Tulsa on Friday night.

Memphis was also without senior wing Trahson Burrell in that 20-point UConn victory in February. In that game, The Tigers led 37-36 at halftime but the Huskies blew them out in the second half by out-pacing Memphis 54-24 in the paint and 16-4 in second-chance points.
Can UConn, which isn’t a great rebounding team, do that again to Memphis today? And at what point does playing four overtimes on Friday in an epic win over Cincinnati start to set in for the Huskies? Many thought I t would have been Saturday but UConn had no issues with Temple, but perhaps the Huskies’ adrenaline was still pumping.
UConn may very well be crowned AAC tournament champions today but 5.5 points is a lot to hand a Memphis team that appears to be peaking at the right time. Bet that line up to 6 and you have yourself plenty of value in the Tigers.
