Wednesday’s SEC Predictions
The SEC has another three games on its schedule for Wednesday. Here’s our predictions for the games set to take place.
LSU at South Carolina, 6:30PM ET (SEC Network)
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, South Carolina is the favorite in this game, as the Gamecocks are getting odds of -4.5 points against LSU. South Carolina won and covered the spread in its last two meetings with LSU. The Gamecocks have had a disappointing season, but have won their last two at home, besting Georgia and Auburn by nine points each. LSU has dropped five straight on the road, going 0-4-1 against the spread in those five games. Look for the Tigers’ struggles on the road to continue. SEC PREDICTIONS: SOUTH CAROLINA -4.5
Ole Miss at No. 23 Kentucky, 7PM ET (ESPN2)
According to oddsmakers, Kentucky is favored at home this season. The Wildcats are getting odds of -9 points against Ole Miss. The Rebels are just 1-9 on the road this season and 3-7 against the spread in those 10 games. Kentucky has dominated this series, winning eight straight against Ole Miss and the Wildcats have covered in five of the last six meetings. UK has won its last three, all by double digits, so I expect their good play to continue against the Rebels. SEC PREDICTIONS: KENTUCKY -9
Ole Miss vs. Kentucky Series History
Texas A&M at Georgia, 8:30PM ET (SEC Network)
Oddsmakers expect this one to be close, as Georgia is just a 1-point favorite against Texas A&M. The Bulldogs are 4-2 overall and 5-1 against the spread in their last six meetings with the Aggies and Georgia comes in having won three of its last four. The Bulldogs are 11-3 at home despite a 16-12 overall record. That includes a 7-4 record against the spread. The Aggies are just 3-7 on the road straight up and 4-6 ATS. The Georgia defense should be too much for Texas A&M, as the Bulldogs hold opponents to 65.9 per game at home. SEC PREDICTIONS: GEORGIA -1
