Virginia is coming off a 61-57 loss to North Carolina in the ACC Championship and though the Cavaliers are known for defense, Virginia was able to pile up the points in non-conference play. The Cavaliers had their first five wins this season see them score 80 points or more and win by margins of 38, 25, 35, 17 and 26. Hampton has had tournament success in the past but the Pirates already own a 33-point loss to SMU and a 30-point loss to Princeton. They haven’t faced anything like what Virginia will bring this season.
